Apologies

Hey everyone!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and let's bring in the New Year with a bang!

I just want to take this post to say sorry for slacking so much on the blog, the reasons being are: college work & exams, catching up with friends over the holidays, the holidays in general and I'm so busy with work, which I am not complaining about at all!

I know that like I could have obvs sat down and done some posts over the holidays but bar taking clients, I just want to spend my spare time with family and friends or else sleeping to be quite honest.

I have been fairly active on my Facebook page which is Jodi Roche Makeup and my Instagram which is jodirochemakeup. Also had a few stories up on the snapchat, I'm not like a proper snapchatter when it comes to makeup so there will be personal and makeup related things on my stories but feel free to add me and it's liljodibubz < don't ask.

I think I just want to say sorry and that I do have many posts in mind to do, so hopefully I'll get those up and I'll reviewing and sharing products with you all, I have so many ideas but I'm always open to a suggestion so let me know!

I honestly don't know what I'm doing with my life anymore but I think recently I've gotten way more back into being a freelance makeup artist because the blog kind of took over for a while and I did loose interest in doing other people's makeup, which is sad because it's how I started and I've been told I'm a little inspiration and that warms my heart, and just seeing people's reaction when they see themselves in the mirror after a makeover just makes my job all worth while.

I will continue with the blog because I do enjoy it! Just kind of took a break, don't have a routine right now but I'll get back into one!

Thanks for hopefully understanding and

Nivea Eye Makeup Remover Review

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been slacking on the blog..one more exam to go! Anyways today I want to tell you all about this eye makeup remover from Nivea. I'm sure you have all seen this at some stage in your local chemists.

I just want to say that yes this is an amazing eye makeup remover so I would highly recommend it. That is pretty much my review on the product for it's intended purpose, it is amazing, even removes the Inglot gel liner fully. And how do I know this? Well yes, I did use it on my eyes but here's a little trick of mine. This probably isn't new to anyone else but it is to me.

Use this makeup remover to clean your brushes!

So as you may have seen on my blog or on the internet in general, rubber gloves with little groves can be used to clean brushes. I actually have a baking glove from Penneys, €2, and that cleans my brushes better than anything else.

Now this glove is perfect for everything bigger than an eye shadow brush. I found my liner brushes, which are so tiny anyway, becoming frayed and the bristles were not as compact/tight as before which was making the liner a lot thicker when I did liner on clients.

So with that I began washing the brushes on the palm of my hand as it was softer but I don't know, it wasn't working, maybe it was the shampoo and soap. Anyway then a client suggested a load of remedies and she actually mentioned makeup remover. When I received this makeup remover at the #DeiseBloggers event, I was delighted.

So now what I do is use this cleanser to remove my eye makeup, as well as clean my brushes because as I said it even removes the Inglot gel liner which is like bullet proof.

So what I do is just put the brush at the nozzle and tip the bottle over a bit to get the brush wet and wipe clean onto a soft tissue and my brushes are completely clean and liner free. This has also helped to soften up the bristles which is great for keeping the quality of the brush! Now there's a nice little tip for those that use brushes to apply liner.

This also works amazing for lip brushes.

I would highly recommend this eye makeup remover! You'd be surprised at how brilliant this would be as even a stocking filler!

Available in Sam McCauleys for under €5!

Ziaja Skincare Update

Hey everyone!

So I have been using the Ziaja products for about two weeks now and I have seen differences in my skin so I just wanted to report that. +Ziaja Skincare +Ziaja

I just want to say that this is my skin, my experience like it is personal to me so if I have a good experience with it that doesn't mean you will. As you know everyone is different and everyone experiences things differently so keep that in mind.

So I've been using the moisturizing face cream as you may have seen previous posts or snapchats about it and I absolutely loved it. But I actually had to stop using it and what happened was really strange. I was using the cream once a day if not twice so like every morning I would use it and sometimes at night - depending if I had a shower or not. And I began to get an extremely itchy jaw line - like what? I know that's so weird but like that's what happened me. I was constantly itching my jaw and neck area - which is wear I would have applied the cream but no where else on my face was itchy.

So I just stopped using that because it was so uncomfortable. I think I will go back and give it another go and maybe just use it from my cheeks upwards because I have no issue there and it was an amazing makeup base so I'm not totally slating the cream but that's what happened me. And also, I got a huge dry patch on my chin while using the cream but honestly, that's just the Winter time like it always happens. I just had to go back to my old moisturizer to fix this little dry patch. I still like the cream just not at my jaw haha! I would still recommend this product if you are older or have like a dull face haha it just lifts you up.

Next I have the Ziaja Olive Leaf gel scrub and I really love this stuff. Like you know yourself, it does what it says on the tin. Removes tan amazingly and leaves the skin feeling so smooth and smells great too. I would highly recommend this product, paired with the exfoliating gloves from likes Penneys, this is great. I would re purchase this product. Rough but still gentle on the skin.

Now I have the Ziaja Olive Leaf cleasning oil. Now I have only used this product in one type of way and this type of way does not work for me at all. I used this oil while in the shower because it said I could haha! So you just take a little bit and lather it on and wash off. Sounds great. But for me, with a sleeve of tattoos, this just didn't work. I don't know if its the product or my tattoos but it made my tattoos like rise? and become bumpy which just felt odd like it wasn't right. So I will not be using this oil on my body but I will give it another shot in a different type of way. Now it could be all my tattoos fault but I can't change them so I just couldn't put myself through that feeling again. It did make other areas nice and soft but not soft enough for me to ignore the bumpiness haha!

And finally a little face mask. This is the Olive Leaf one and I just used it. My skin feels so soft and replenished. I have a small breakout on my chin/lip area and it has helped reduce that redness and like just reduce the blemish in general. These masks are like 80c so fab for a mini pamper night. I do really like this face mask and wouldn't mind using it again!

So I hope you found that helpful but remember this is just my opinion and experience. As I said before, I don't have a proper skin care routine so maybe that's why crazy things happened my face - twas a shock to it! But I do really like this brand and I will try out more products.

You can buy these products on www.originalbeauty.ie and at the moment they have fab sets for just €9.99 - I picked up 2 sets as Christmas presents and like these are not small sets, these weigh a ton and are just huge like just fab, I can't wait to give them at Christmas! I got the coconut set & the olive leaf set. Can you tell I'm a fan of the olive leaf range? It's just so fresh.

If you have anymore questions or anything just ask me or even better check out Emma from Mastering Your Makeup - she is a brand ambassador so she'd know a lot more than I would! Hope you enjoyed!

cloud10beauty Christmas Gift Guide

Hey everyone!

So this morning I got an email from http://www.cloud10beauty.com/ showing what they would recommend as gifts for Christmas and I thought I would show you all what they think and give you my opinion and thoughts on the list. There are only 4 items so this will be a short post, hopefully,

First up is the +Sigma Beauty  Face Architecture Collection which is made up of 7 brushes that define and sculpt the face. I think these are brand new brushes because I have never seen these before. So you have 3 highlight brushes and 4 contour brushes. The total for all 7 brushes is €164.65 which is a lot but if you divide that it works out at €23.50 per brush which isn't too bad for Sigma Brushes. These brushes are amazing, I have a good few myself and you pay for what you get so these brushes are of high quality, work amazingly and last for ever. The set is made up of:
  • F03 - Highlight
  • F04 - Contour
  • F23 - Contour
  • F37 - Highlight
  • F56 - Highlight
  • F57 - Contour
  • F77 - Contour
These brushes are not in a set but are all part of the same collection. So they can be bought separately and the prices range from €19.95 - €26.95. These are not essential for makeup but would be an amazing gift for anyone that is into makeup, especially highlight and contouring! I must say, I have my eye on the F57. +Cloud 10 Beauty

Sigma Beauty Brushes - Brushes

Next up for the nail lover is this fab set from +ciate london and they have teamed up with +Olivia Palermo to create this 4 piece nail polish set. Now I'm one for getting my nails done with shellac or gel so I don't have much of an input on this but it looks so fancy and luxurious that I would be happy to receive one myself!

The set comes in a gorgeous box with 4 little polishes inside. There is a statement red, a deep dark purple, a pale pinky nude and a burgundy red shade, so all amazing colours for the holidays. Perfect for Christmas Day, New Years and all in between. This set is just €29.95 so that works out at just €7.40 per polish!

Ciate Set - Ciate Polish Set

Now we have the highly raved about Blank Canvas palette. It is the Master Series Palette and this is the first one of the series! This has been raved about by bloggers all over Ireland and some even say that certain shades in the palette remind them a lot of a favorite but discontinued MAC shadow, I believe it's uninterrupted by MAC! This palette is certainly up my street. It comes with 12 warm toned shadows (11 matte, 1 shimmer) Perfection. I'm all about matte and warm tones. And not only do you get 12 shadows but also a double ended Blank Canvas brush? Ah hello! And you get all this for just €34.95 like are ya joking me? That's €2.60 per shadow and brush! Amazing deal and value and no doubt amazing quality. I will defo be picking this up for myself and clients. This would be the perfect gift for any girl.

Blank Canvas - Master Series Palette 1

And finally, another palette but for the face. A highlighting palette by +Sleek MakeUP.  This palette is so popluar it is currently out of stock but +Cloud 10 Beauty  always re stock asap so I would imagine you can order before Christmas. This little palette packs quite a punch, well from what I've heard. The highlight shades in this palette are supposed to be on another level. You get 4 shades for just €13.49, that's €3.30 per shade. There are two powders and two cream highlights so something to suit everyone. What I would recommend is to apply the cream with your ring finger on the cheek bones and set with the powders, that will give such an amazing glow. That packaging looks so classy and chic, it would just be stunning in anyone's makeup kit. A perfect stocking filler if you ask me!

I hope you enjoyed this and got some good gift ideas for the woman in your life! I know I'd be delighted with anything from this little list. All products mentioned can be found on http://tinyurl.com/qxhn2ar and they stock many more brands so go check the website out! It's where I buy most of my makeup from because it's free shipping on orders over €15, you get 3 free samples and the shipping is so quick that it would literally be here the week you ordered! Cloud10beauty is an Irish based site and company so support Irish :)

Babydoll Tan Goddess Review!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all well, only 18 more days till Christmas!

So today I have a tan review :) If you know me, you know I go through stages of being tanned for a few weeks and then pale for the rest of the month.

Most of the time, I only apply tan when I know I need to, like if I'm going out or to an event, I will pop on tan but I don't just wear tan for the sake of it. So I typically use this tan from +Primark which is €3.50. I love being overly dark, so I always pick up the dark shade. Now this tan from +Primark is instantly dark but also develops so by the end of the night I'm on a whole other level but it's okay. Now this tan that I usually use, makes me dark for the night and when I wash it off the next day, it's pretty much gone.

My legs and chest do not hold tan on very well - I find after I wash tan off, those are the areas I need to apply more onto even after the shower. Maybe it's just me but I love being dark so I'll more.

Now that was all about my 'usual' tan. Now I'm going to move onto +Babydoll Cosmetics Tan Goddess. Just needed to tell you about the +Primark tan so that we can compare the two.

I knew I was going out Friday so I decided to try out Tan Goddess. I popped the tan on at about 2 o clock. Now the tan is slightly instant when you first apply it but it wasn't as dark as my +Primark tan when that first went on, so I was a bit iffy. However, a few hours later, it did darken up a bit more and I was happy enough with the colour. I would have liked it darker but I wasn't going out out so I wasn't too bothered by it.

This is me going out that Friday night. Here you can see how dark I am and this is with the flash on, taken with  my iPhone. So I'm not too dark but I'm usually darker.

So yep I did my makeup and went out. I was in the cinema so I couldn't even tell if it was getting darker and then we moved onto the pub so again I couldn't tell but I did meet up with my friend in the pub and I said I was a bit worried about the colouring and she told me to not worry, that I would be super dark when I woke up the next day and by God wasn't she right!

Yeah I woke up the next day like I was another race. Should have also mentioned that I got the shade dark, as always with any other tan that I get. So yep I was delighted with the colour of myself the next day. It obviously needed that over night to develope, which is just something I'm not personally used to but I'm clearly not normal with my tanning routine. I do know that most people apply their tan the night before they need it and all that so yeah it's absolutely perfect for that. I have no pictures of the next day but just trust me that I was dark haha!

Thank God I learned how to use the tan haha! Also, I used the +Babydoll Cosmetics tanning mitt which is super soft and velvety - really recommended this mitt because I have never seen a tan apply more evenly than this with the mitt. The mitt is now a new favorite of mine!

Now to see how the tan wore off. This tan does not wear off haha! Well it hasn't yet. I'm used to my +Primark tan just washing off after two washes and going a bit grubby. However the +Babydoll Cosmetics  Tan Goddess has yet to come off on me at all. It is now Monday and I applied it Friday and there is no sign of it wearing away. Obviously the tan colour is fading but it is fading off so evenly - even my hands look great still and that is not the case with any other tan I have used.

I'm absolutely delighted with this tan. As I said I was iffy at the start but now I will always prep myself the night before and I know then that I'll have fab tan that night and also for the days after. Who doesn't love to be tanned? And just having a nice tan even days after you have applied it and washed yourself is always a bonus.

I just took this photo today, Monday, and this is how dark I am with the flash on. You can see how even the tan still is and how dark it is. Thumbs up from me.

You can pick up +Babydoll Cosmetics  Tan Goddess in any Sam McCauleys along with the mitt. The tan is only €10 and a little bit does a long way especially when you use such a good mitt - that's another point that I should have mentioned - the tan goes so far. I only needed two pumps for my arms and shoulders which is nothing because I needed about 4 pumps with other tans and again the mitt does distribute the tan evenly and effectively so you're not wasting product and getting value for money. I'll pop a link below to the tan on Sam McCauleys online.

So I would recommend this tan.
  • Goes on evenly.
  • Develops beautifully over night.
  • Washes off like a dream.
  • Fades evenly.
  • It's affordable.
  • The smell isn't bad at all - not a strong odor from it.
  • The mitt is also amazing.
  • Lasts for ages.
  • Value for money.
  • Colour is fab. I got the dark shade.
I will defo be re purchasing this tan. Step away from Sally for a moment girls and try this out. You won't be disappointed. It's a tan that will last ages in the bottle and on the skin.

Hope you enjoyed this little review and found it helpful. Let me know if you try it out!

The Christmas Tag!

Hey everyone!

I can't believe Christmas is only 21 days away like time is flying. I was tagged by the lovely Lisa from Cuddles and Contouring and also the fab Jamie from Grey Skies & Silver Linings to do this festive tag! I hope you enjoy! I invite everyone to do this tag, let's all get in the Christmas spirit :)

Favorite Christmas Movie(s)?

I have so many but I think it's the same for everyone! Home Alone, Elf and The Grinch.

Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

It depends who the gifts are from, if they're from family members then Christmas Day but if they're from friends then Christmas Eve. But Richie and I have a 7 year old habit of just opening our gifts from each other on Christmas Eve too so!

Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?

I don't think so, it's pretty much the same every year but I just love getting to see each family member at both my nannies houses. So it's not a memory but I love the tradition of that.

Favorite Christmas food?

I don't even like turkey, Shock horror. It's just so dry and meh. I just love advent calendars so I'm going to say Chocolate. My aunt even got me a bag of twirls one year - it was great,

Favorite Christmas gift?

Obvs makeup but I really love getting thoughtful gifts too like maybe a bit of jewelry with my birth stone on it or something nice like that. I also love getting photos in frames as gifts too.

Have you any Christmas Eve traditions?

Richie and I swap gifts and I get a Chinese with my family before we go to bed. Myself and Mam also always get new fluffy pjs for Christmas Eve night. We used to stay in and watch movies like The Grinch but now I'm older we go out.

What tops your tree?

Fairly sure it's an Angel.

As a kid, what was one extravagant gift you asked for but never got?

I was spoiled rotten so I actually always got what I asked for. Never disappointed haha.

What's the best part of Christmas for you?

Just being able to be with my family and friends for like a week straight and now we're all old enough to go our for the likes of Stephens night and New Years. I also love seeing my younger cousins with their presents from Santa, it's just so cute. I can't wait to see Maisy this year cause she understands what Christmas and Santa is so it'll be adorable. And everyone is just in a good mood and you just feel good for the whole month of December. I just love Winter too!

Right lads, that's all! Hope you enjoyed this tag :)

Feel free do to it yourself! I'd love to know :)

Penneys Brushes Review

Hi everyone!

Hope you're well :)

I was just going through my brushes to see what ones need a clean! When I came across my Penneys brushes (PS Love)  that I got in my goodie bag at the #DeiseBloggers event. Thank you so much +Primark  http://primark.ie/ for these amazing products. Whoops! Basically gave away my thoughts haha.

So yeah I picked up the brushes and they needed a wash but I thought I should photograph them before the wash to show that I have used them and also the shape would be sort of lost while they're wet. Leave it to me to leave my brush cleaning the day before appointments!

Anyways, I got 3 brushes but it's more like 5 because two are double ended! You'll pay no more than €3 for a brush so that's an absolute bargain and I'm fairly sure it's synthetic hair? Correct me if I'm wrong but the brushes seem like they will work with powder, liquid or cream easily.

So first I want to talk about the contour brush which is €2! I'm all about contour and this brush reminds me so much of my +Sigma Beauty F40 contour brush which is about €20. Some difference in price. And the brushes look the exact same.

The contour brush has that nice shape that fit right into the contours of the cheeks. I find that it also distributes the product lightly so that's always a good thing with contour brushes cause you never want too much! It's also a very soft brush so it feels amazing.

Personally, after one use, I know if I like a brush or not and I really love this one. Perfect stocking filler.

Next up is the double ended foundation/concealer brush. I have only used the smaller brush for my concealer and I love it. At the moment, I have claws so I can't apply my concealer with my finger as I normally would. I was hesitant to try this brush out as it could leave brush strokes or anything. However, this brush did not do that, thankfully. So it's safe to say I love applying my concealer with this little brush. It costs just €2 and it's soo soft. That's one thing about these brushes, they are soft yet dense? Amazing.

And finally, for brushes anyway, I also tried out the double ended stippling brush. This costs €2.50 and you're really getting two brushes! This reminds me an awful lot of the Blank Canvas F26 mini buffer brush. Although this is a stippling brush, I find it too dense to be called that so to me, it's like a small buffer brush. The larger end is sort of shaped like a contour brush so that's perfect for cream contour. The smaller side is more rounded and seems perfect for blending out and buffing in concealer and highlighter. And that is exactly how I used these brushes and I loved how my makeup turned out. They're super dense brushes so they blend product out flawlessly. Again, I'm in love!

Now onto actual makeup. We got a blusher and highlighter! I don't know the names cause I threw away my boxes but the girls mentioned something like pearly queen as the highlight name but I haven't a notion of the blusher but you'll see in photos.

So firstly, I'm not a blusher person. But I wanted to test this blusher out. This blusher is insane, Soooo pigmented. Only tap your brush in once and very lightly at that. This is an amazing thing about a product, it means that a little will go a long way! And as I said I'm not normally into blusher but I think this one gives a nice colour to the face, especially in Winter! Rosy cheeks are in. I applied this with a duo fibre brush and I can't remember the price but I'm sure it was about €3 which is brilliant for such a pigmented product.

And finally, the highlighter. I am all about highlighter too so I was buzzing when we got this. This highlighter is not available in Penneys Waterford as of yet - that I know of, so if you're in the larger cities it should be there. This highlight it like a white/gold/champagne colour. It's just a lovely colour that would suit all skin. So for me, I use MaryLou Manizer by theBalm as my everyday highlight lol, so this is a lot more toned down but if you're a normal person - this is perfect for everyday and just add more if you were going out. Now because I'm such a highlight freak, I would honestly use this all over my face. I find it gives a beautiful glow more than a sparkly highlight. So I'm going to label this as a dupe for the Hourglass ambient light powders or whatever they're called. Call me crazy but that's what I like. I love an all over glow to the skin so I feel like that's what it would be perfect for. Don't use too much though, you don't want to be a disco-ball. Again I don't have the price but it's about €3 I'm sure.

We also got lashes which I will be using over the weekend so I'll keep you posted.

Overall I am really impressed with everything. I would recommend them to clients and friends and I think they're the perfect stocking filler. Defo check them out if you haven't already. Well worth the money ( which is nothing really )

I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions just ask :)

#DeiseBloggers Event 2015

Hey everyone!

So today I want to talk about the event in its entirety. From start to finish. Brace yourself, for a long post.

So this event has been months of planning, I believe we started planning in August? Maybe even earlier. So that is when our dream team came to be. Lisa, Emma, Rachael and I came together to work on this event. A lot of time and emails went into this. Calls were made and favors were given. Slowly but surely things began happening and the event got nearer and nearer.

As I spoke about this to my family. my brother Kenny, is a qualified photographer and offered to help us out. Amazing! This just made it even more professional because I knew we would have amazing photos. ( I will leave links to everyone's social media at the end of this blog post )

So myself and the girls had been in regular talks over the months but never actually met. The Thursday before the event myself and Lisa decided to meet up in the city and get a few bits for the event. Like no joke, we were both nervous but I think we get on great! Inside jokes and all haha! So we went around and picked up Christmas themed goodies for the event and just chatted away and got to know each other. After all that we popped into Costa Coffee and Rachael joined us too! I had met Rachael briefly at an Urban Decay event but everyone was so shy at that haha. It was brilliant to meet the two girls that I had been working with for so long! I couldn't meet Emma as she lives in Dublin so that had to wait until the event!

The next week just flew by, emails were being sent to everyone and posts wrote on our little blogger page. I think we were all waiting in anticipation for it!

Then finally, Saturday, November 28th was here! All the hard work, emails and prep that went into this is finally paying off. I couldn't wait. I was buzzing to do my hair, tan and makeup for the event. I just planned on taking so many selfies haha - wouldn't be like me at all.

So I woke at 8 and literally got right into it. Had to make sure everyone was ready and I didn't forget anything, At about 11:30 myself, Kenny and Nadia left for the event. To say I was a ball of nerves on the way up would be an understatement. I knew I had to get up on stage and talk to all the girls, but I said I would worry about that when the time came to it.

So we got there at about 12:30 or something and headed into the lovely Kazbar. I can't thank the Kazbar enough for having us, it was amazing from the room to the food. The Kazbar really out did themselves and we're all so grateful for them. We were the first people there and sort of clueless. Luckily Rachael arrived a few minutes later and she knew exactly what to do! She even arrived with a box full of amazing little cupcakes which were kindly made by Kilmeaden Cakes! Soooo cute, they even had stickers on them saying: #DeiseBloggers like it was so thoughtful to even ask us did we want a little sticker on top.

Then Lisa arrived with a pile of stuff! and baby Dylan came along for a little bit, sure I was chatting away to him forgetting work needed to be done! You can't blame me though he's a little dote. So I guess like everyone just brought all they had and we kinda sorted ourselves out. Got a feel of the room and had an idea of how we wanted it to be set up like. So we continued adding bits to the goodie bags and also sticking up some decorations.

Then Emma arrived with even more stuff! It was crazy like, the amount of stuff, you wouldn't see it at any Dublin event. So again just more working and decorating. Then chairs and tables had to be moved, we had to create a photo area, we placed a few cupcakes on each table and Rachael got the glitter out and all! It all started to come together and look the part.

I think after all that, it was decided to get some drinks! So that's what the girls did while I ran out to the car cause silly me forgot my purse. Anyway, when I got back a few girls had arrived and we just began to mingle. The event was to be held between 2 and 5. Most girls were here by 2:20 I want to say and that's when myself, Lisa, Rachael and Emma had to go on stage to talk. Nerve wracking to say the least. Lisa went first, THANKYOU. And then I went second which isn't too bad. We gave a brief chat about ourselves so people would know us and yeah like just a general chat to set the vibe and create a fab atmosphere.

If you want to see any pictures taken on the day just search the hashtag #DeiseBloggers on any social media account and you'll be able to see photos as well as see the girls!

After our intro, the fab Abigail Roche from Glamour Puss Makeup (links will be below) did a Jaclyn Hill inspired look on Emma! Gail did an amazing job and if she was under pressure in anyway, because I know I wouldn't be able to do makeup in front of 20 odd girls so I'm sure she was a bit nervous, she did an amazing job. I want everything in Gail's makeup kit! She gave us great little tips and tricks which I'm so thankful for! Always great to learn new makeup methods. It was lovely meeting you Gail and I hope to see you again in the near future! Amazingly talented woman! She is such an inspiration - defo go check her out :)

Next up was Shirley was lilyandolive and she works in Mulligans Pharmacy and gave us a brilliant talk about how to make connections in the blogging world and it's all through just meeting people and going to events. I don't want to give away too many secrets! But I really enjoyed this talk because I learned a lot about connections and networks and I'm truly grateful for Shirley giving us this information! (links will be below as always)

Following the makeup demo and chat was a short break. To give us all a chance to really talk and take some photos! And we did just that. We got a heap of photos, which I will try to link below also because there are so many I couldn't fit them all here but yeah we all just chatted and then some food came out from the lovely Kazbar - lads their chips are amazing. So yeah this little interval was great, probably my favorite part because I actually got to chat to the girls and take photos which I love so yeah it was so nice to meet all of the girls!

I think most people would think, aw you put a bunch of 20 odd girls into a room like there will be drama and the sorts. However, I can honestly say, there are no nicer bunch of girls than the girls at the DeiseBloggers event. I can hand on heart say we all got along really well and created a great network of people. Some may think the blogging/beauty industry is super competitive and bitchy but that is not the case with DeiseBloggers anyway. I even tweeted saying that I felt like it was a day spent with all my gal pals and that's really what it was like.

So yeah after all that, Emma went on stage and gave an amazing talk about a brand she is the ambassador for which is Ziaja skincare and I will do a full blog post on this brand once I have it all tested out! Well done Emma for getting up there and chatting to us about Ziaja, I really love the brand already but as I said I'll do a whole post about it.

After Emma's talk we held a raffle which Rachael hosted for us! Thank you Rachael :) So there was a raffle strip in each girls goodie bag so everyone had a strip and great chances of winning. I think we had 9 prizes so most girls got an extra bag! Which was a nice touch to the whole event and I think we had some very happy girls!

After that the evening calmed down a bit and some had to leave a little bit early due to work or other commitments but the evening was pretty much over after the raffle! Also quick mention, Laura Dempsey said to let everyone know that the new Gwen Stefani (omg I can't spell but you know who I'm talking about) palette will be launching Thursday! I've seen it and it looks amazing. Perfect palette for Christmas so defo pop into Urban Decay in Debenhams to see it and buy it haha! So yeah I think after all that, the evening was over!

We had our little outro and we just want to thank everyone for coming and being amazing, the Kazbar for their hospitality, all of our sponsors and of course our photographer Kenny! I also want to thank Lisa, Rachael and Emma for being such an amazing group of girls to work with, hopefully this will be our first of many events that we have together!

As I said if you want to see more just search #DeiseBloggers
